St. Cadoc’s Church – Recent restoration

In 2014 a survey discovered that the church roof structure was in need of urgent repair due to beetle attack.

In 2015 a 3D laser scan of the whole church was carried out making St Cadoc’s is the only church in Wales to have a 3D scan!

10 openings were created in the ceiling so that the roof space could be inspected and a photographic survey was carried out.

A grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund was secured and restoration work began in 2016. The work was completed in 2018
