Church in Crisis

We need your help and ideas

St Cadoc’s church in Penrhos is in a dangerous state. The main part of the church, the nave, is unsafe and cannot be used.

Thanks to a community effort and sterling work by some individuals we have been able to continue to worship by moving the pews in the Nave and partitioning off the Chancel, using the Chancel door to obtain access to Worship.

After conducting a village questionnaire, it’s clear that the majority of people in the community wish to help save the church so now we need your ideas!

It has been established that collectively we may need to raise funds. All help will be gratefully received and any ideas for fund raising please share with the committee. We really want to make this an opportunity to bring our community together and to raise enough money to preserve St Cadoc’s for future generations.

Please contact members of the committee with your ideas. If you would like their contact details, please email and we will put you in touch.

Thanks to Vicki for the following photos showing damage to the church.

I think the colours in this photo look like they’ve been manipulated but I assure you they haven’t been.
